Former Student Abigail Irozuru Jumps PB to become British Champion

Congratulations Abigail!  Former King of Kings School student, Abigail Irozuru, took the Sainsbury’s British Indoor Champion title in long jump this weekend, after jumping a personal best. She made it look very easy. We are very excited that Abigail will be coming in to visit the students at King of Kings in the next couple of weeks.  We look forward to seeing her and to celebrating with her. Abigail is a really exciting athlete and, more than that, a really well-rounded, intelligent, lovely, young woman.

Abigail also has become the 3rd all-time best UK indoor long jumper, with a jump of 6.73m, qualifying for next month’s European Indoor Championships in Prague. We continue to follow her career with great anticipation.
